One is for the bluetooth interface and the other is for usb otg. You can get otg cables for dirt cheap on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is...prefix=usb+otg

Just make sure your phone is OTG compatible.

Just bought and tested both apps, I have a razr with bluetooth obd2 that use for tourque app, Couldnt get it to connect with BluBoost said i need to repair but it worked with tourque and was paired. Any help would be appreiciated

For the OTG i used my asus transformer tf101 android o/s tablet took a little trial and error but got it working . I found when i changed it to landscape it froze and i would have to unistall and reinstall to get to work again. Also where do the logs go i couldnt find them after i logged?? says something like rb/rb.csv???

I got a crash report from your transformer and am pinpointing the origin now. You said it connected successfully after? Also, the logs are stored in /sdcard/BB/. I've been meaning to make that user adjustable.

I've also posted a new version with the USB host feature requirement removed so if you are sure your device has OTG support and it said it was incompatible before, try looking for it in the play store again in a few hours.

Can you check engine codes or modify any settings? Or is this strictly for reviewing on the fly data and data logging. .?

Code reading and clearing is a planned add on for a future release.

Posted version 1.1.0 to the play store.

- Added option to keep backlight bright
- Saved current view state
- Added option to change log directory
- Corrected some typos

Its not pretty, but the plan was to build it into a nav dash when I'm not too broke and busy...7-24v usb hub installed in ash tray is fully functional now, so that's a win.

There was some trim cutting to get it as low as possible. The first trick was to open up the tablet, bend the usb port back 180 degrees, and glue the otg cord so the cable came out the back. Then cut some of the padding off the dash and made a hole for cables and clips. Notched that aluminum trim so the nexus screen was flush with trim on the bottom. Finally clipped a snap-on back cover to the dash and tacked it together with some hot glue.

I have a couple pictures of the nexus but none of cutting into the dash. If I did it again it'd come out a lot cleaner...

Hi, I have a Samsung S4, tried to connect.. but the connection is not established. I get a message about security problem. I am trying to solve this by installing "Security policy update".. but there seems to be a problem with connection to (samsung?) server.

Just for your info...
