It seems like this forum has at least some belief that 2step ruins turbos. I'm not a tuner or anything, but from my background of turbo Hondas, evos, subarus, etc, 2step is not regarded as a "turbo destroyer". Obviously it's going to take some toll on the car, but is there any evidence that it "destroys" our turbos?

A 2-step rev-limiter alone isn't going to hurt a turbo much at all, but 2-step and anti-lag will beat the hell out of them.

If you can leave black marks on a straight from the time you exit a corner till the time you brake for the next turn....... Then, you have enough horsepower.

I got upto page 8.

Is it still a case of having to get the circuitboard soldered to be able to utilise this feature?
Is there a page I could print off and take along to a shop, along with the jb4 unit, that would show them what they needed to do? I have no idea what I'm doing.

There a plenty of good diy's out there. I did this outaide in. 20 minutes. No soldering necessary...I did but you don't have to. Fairly plug and play. If you can install the jb4 yourself you can do this as well imo.

Just curious, skimmed through most of the pages, how safe is this for the stock turbos? I read in the beginning Terry said it was somewhere between not good and a bad idea.

If it was possible to limit boost on the first gear or two would it be useful for launchint at the dragstrip?
