Default Me (10th gen Si) vs FBO 8th gen Si vs FBO RSX-Type S - 03-03-2019, 04:01 PM

Had a 3-up run last night against an 8th gen Si and an RSX-S, both full bolt on. 40 roll. This is in Mexico, of course.

The 8th gen had no chance. Me and the RSX both pulled really hard against him; I almost felt bad for the guy. A 40 roll for me starts towards the top of 2nd (which maxes at 59 mph). The RSX kept up about halfway through third gear but I started pulling away pretty hard. Shut down about 90 or so, still walking away easily.

This was on the Honda JB4, running map 7 (+9 psi) on an E30 blend.

Good times

Mishimoto intake, resonator delete, Vibrant 1040 muffler, JB4 tuner, Firehawk Indy 500 rubber, Lamin-X fog light covers, Xentec 35w 6000k HIDs, custom d20 shift knob, 20% tint, red "H" badges.

Odd the RSX left that SI in the dust figured you would walk them both since they are basically the same NA 200hp K20 with only small differences. However the results of the race with your boosted SI are of course the right one

I"ve owned 6th, 7th and 8th gen SI - def one of the most fun cars ive owned.

Yeah, I think the 8th Gen guy had a poorly installed driver mod.

What color was your 6th? The EBP 6th was the first Honda I ever saw that I thought, "Damn, I really like that!" Never owned one, though. It was a huge influence in me buying my '18 Si in Aegean Blue.

Electron Blue Pear - i remember i was broke working at a car wash in 2000 and saw one come in and was like - whats that?! I became a honda guy right after lol.

Owned a couple of TL's and the TL Type S as well. Now they are boosted kind of want to go back to one, but man i just love this BMW.

However the 7th gen 4 door i had in that blue color was probably the most beastly of all civics i ever owned. I Loved that thing handled on rails.
