For anybody considering the S2 or meth kit, keep in mind my car weighs 300 -350 lbs more than a coupe with manual. So your times are going to be alot faster. A coupe in stick with my setup will be at 12.3ish. You also get better 60' times also. I drove my cousins car today and he has a coupe in stick with the ** and S2, car is soooo fun to drive. Wish I got mine in stick.

Just wanted to report back after several hundred miles of pure torture. Stage 2 is running flawlessly, not one single issue or hiccup to report.

Oh, and my car absolutely punishes our E90 M3 6MT in any sort of straight line contest.

Happy to hear! We have around 20 in the field now and a batch of 50 more in the works. As soon as those are ready we'll open up a public alpha.

Please don't email me, we'll post a link here when they are done!

Yea, I just went a size wider in fron and back. Went on with no problem. And they are also superb in the rain.

Can you possibly share with us the exact tire dimensions you used.

And you have zero rubbing issues, I take it?

Do the tires look like 1980's drag radials on a Mustange (i.e. ballooning over the sides of the wheels)?

I will need new tires in 3k-5k more miles, and I would like to upsize.

Whatever the stock sizes are...one size wider.. The RE-11's do not come in our sizes. Not one rubbing issue. They are 10 MM wider Not alot. No they look completely stock. I will take pics tomorrow and post them. I never posted any pics of the car anyway and I want pics before I smack it up again. LOL. Also the ride is A LOT softer because they aren't run flats. Also if you get them from tire rack, get the insurance. Its only $25 a tire and I used it once alread because I had a nail in the sidewall and they reimbursed me for the tire in no time. So, no rubbing issues, tread patters is sick, soft ride, great in rain, excellent on dry. The only negative point is the tread wear. they are soft compound tires...the closest thing to slicks. I replaced the rear 2 already and they only lasted 5k miles. But I also drive like a lunatic.

Our cars have the same wheel sizes as a 335i with Sport Package, so their 225/255 tire sizes fit our wheels perfectly as you can see in Shatty's picture.

I'm running my Bridgestone RE760 Sports in 335i sizes, too, and love the setup.

For you guys running non-RFTs, what do you do for a spare? Or just no spare?

I keep telling myself to get the M Mobility kit but I haven't gotten around to it.

I just don't use a spare, I had my 328i for 3 years without one and the two times I got a flat I just had it towed to Discount Tire and got a new set, if you figure the runflats cost twice as much in the beginning, I was still better off.
