I don’t know if this is allowed, just wanted to share. Where is everyone buying their 50/50 juice? My first 4 gals I bought from Amazon for $41. Just bought a second set from sportcompactwarehouse.com for $40 shipped.

I’m still on my initial Amazon 4 pack. I’ll take a look at these guys next order. I also picked up a gal of M1 to add to the Boost Juice. Honestly I cannot feel a bit of difference when I added 1/2gal to my 3/4 full 2gal tank.

I’m off to Jotech next Friday afternoon for another dyno run. Hopefully I am dialed in now that I’m running pump 93 + WMI. My AFR numbers (thanks to the fuel wires I’m sure) are typically in the 12.4-12.5 range at WOT. Fingers crossed for a hot NTX dyno run close to Terry’s 450whp.

I have to ask - WGDC and LPFP / HPFP logging seems like we are looking at some new numbers which will be important in the coming weeks !?!

I'd like to get WGDC on there also. Easier said than done. There are only so many standard logging PIDs. The flash tuners are able to add a few more through the flashing process. We'll see if we can open things up once we have good back end flash tools available.

Yeah its brutally hot here right now and the car makes more power and yet the IAT's are probably cooler cause of the WMI.

Loving WMI and wondering if there is any reason to tweak WMI settings? Getting a Dyno end of next week!

Terry/Payam - Here in PA, I run 93 and Map 8. Is it safe to add 7 octane using VP Racing’s “MADDITIVE”? If so, any changes needed or will WMI make adjustments dynamically?

It's basically the octane, the fuel volume, and lowering IAT all in one package that is helping the car move like it does!

I haven't heard of the Madditive, but I guess it could help bring the in tank octane up. The methanol should do most of that though. No changes needed.

Default Latest Dyno Run - 07-19-2019, 07:58 PM

I took my 2017 Q50 Premium to Jotech today for another baseline dyno. Since my last posting I have added the BMS WMI kit to my car. The 406 / 425 run was from June 14th 2019 here in NTX. Temps that day were in the low 90's with just under 50% humidity. I was running an E30 blend of fuel with my JB4 set to Map 7. AFR #'s with the BMS Fuel Wires averaged high 12's to low 13's - trims were maxed out due to the high E content and stock LPFP/HPFP.

The addition of the BMS WMI kit (BA=80) yielded today a nice bump to 423whp and 454 torque. Today's temps in NTX were high 90's and just over 50% humidity. I used Boost Juice and pump 93 octane fuel. AFR #'s with the BMS Fuel Wires averaged 12.3-12.6.

That's a nice bump given that you removed the E content. Any comparison I'm boost levels from map 7 to 8 with the BA of 80?

What would be the most cost effective way to install a WMI on a Q50?

Is the question DIY vs Professional Install OR should I get a one gal tank vs 2 gal tank? I also presume you have a JB4 already ?

Hi Terry. I just purchased the kit from you guys.

Question 1 - Installation instructions?

Question 2 - Is there a downside to running cold side?

Please list the pros and cons of hot side vs cold.

Thanks.
