Default Codes 2E8B, 2DEB, Open to thoughts - 07-05-2019, 09:53 AM

Hi all,

The last couple days have been hotter here at approx 90f.
Also, for two days now (never prior) I'm getting the following codes;
2E8B Intelligent battery sensory, signal (yesterday and today)
2DEB Power management, vehicle wiring system control (today)

After clearing, they return.
Car appears to fun fine, with no impact to anything I can perceive.

I'm focused on the IBS or battery itself.
I suggest IBS as I've had the battery cover off for some time as I was playing with Injectors, etc. (removing negative)

The car always turns over fast, even if it takes a while (leaking injectors at times). Still, all research suggests the battery can still become problematic prior to showing personal symptoms or showing as bad during a capacity test.

Some information even suggests the DME is too hot, however I find 90f dubious in this regard.

I'm very open to your collective thoughts!
Thanks as always!

Thanks. I've reset all related connectors and it hasn't come back for 2+ days now.
Will keep an eye. If it happens again, I'll start with the IBS and report back.
