Default Overboost - 06-07-2019, 11:14 AM

In ANY map when doing a pull boost goes way over target and JB4 goes to map 4. It will also overboost in map 4, logs attached.
I recently installed a 3.5bar TMAP and set 'User Adjustment' accordingly. I have now gone back to the 1.5 bar TMAP until I solve the issues.
New boost solenoids were recently installed, problems began shortly after.
I have been trying to track down any boost leaks but have found nothing blatantly apparent. I will be doing a pressure test this weekend now that I have the proper tools.

However, the WGDC in my logs is what concerns me. Every pull I log shows WGDC going to 25 and staying there anytime the pedal is at 100. Would a boost leak cause WGDC to stay bottomed out even if boost is being made?

This problem has been getting worse lately and I cant seem to make any progress.

Using the BMS E85 BEF burning E60.

a boost leak would casue WGDC to be maxed out or near maxed and you would be under target.

This isnt a leak issue. This looks like plumbing or hardware issue to me... are you sure your WG are functioning correctly?

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Vacuum lines were mixed up on the boost solenoids. I accidentally got them crossed when installing new ones.

Thank you Dave for pointing me in the right direction! I will try to cover the basics before posting next time.

Attached is the most recent log. Slightly under target(possible leak) and high fuel trims.

As far as fuel goes what can be done other than lowering ethanol content? Port injection?

Still pretty under target.

Can I see map 1 or 2?

I completed a successful pressure test yesterday. Everything held fine to 25psi. I sprayed every joint from outlets to intake manifold gaskets, all checked out fine.
I still had an audible leak sound when running the car under full boost, I could not reproduce this during pressure test. I suspected it was coming from the BOV. Installed a heavier spring and no longer hear the squeak/hiss sound. Compressor surges pretty bad but zero leaks under boost.

All logs are with heavy BOV spring.

Logs are a bit short- but it looks like your holding boost a bit better, especially on map 6

But the compressor surge isn’t good ether....
