Default Will this new product suitable for New B48 120i? - 08-30-2016, 12:36 AM

I have ordered BMW 120i B48 from local vender and looking for have JB4 working on it.

and i'm wondering is there anything else that need to modify in car? because b48 on 120i is 182bhp and i jus want it increase to 200bhp up.

Did you get your 120i, I have one as well, 200hp on map 1 or map 2 should be easy.

However if you have good gas map 7 also works pretty well on my car and I would guess you would db at 220-230 with map 7, it runs about 15 psi peak on my car. But I would also recommend to get the EWG connector and FF connectors if you want to run map 7 or 6, it seems to regulate boost better with EWG control and if you do not have FF connector trims can get too high on map 7.

Let's see photos of the engine bay and we can verify what tuners are compatible.

I checked part listing from BMW compare with 120i(184P) and 125i(224P). Seems the only difference is piston. The sharp is different so the engine compression ratio is slightly different and power as well.

I'm not sure if US version with the same configuration or not.
