Default S55 Jb4 - Quicker exhaust valve control? - 07-04-2016, 04:33 PM

Hey guys,

Not sure if this in the correct section however I was wondering if it was possible to speed up adjusting the valves in any way? Possibly using the RES button like the Awron Gauge does?

I know its currently not possible, but could it be implemented in a way similar to Awron?

Many thanks,
Anand

Maybe its an OCD thing as i use the feature alot but after jumping in a car with Awron, the instantaneous valve control was quite satisfying!

For e.g. If you are in full closed mode, you have to jump to oem mode and then wait for a bit and then jump to always open which takes a while especially if you accidentally jump into the dash menu. Is it at all possible to have it instant or faster like Awron? Either another button or quicker on the bc button?

It could be quicker but then people would complain it changed when they wanted to change BC modes in dash.

True - Would it be feasible or even possible at all to assign the control to another button? Like the RES button or the cruse control flick switch. Or is control only possible via the BC button?

The BC has the least number of trade-offs involved.

Would changing the control be something easily changeable in the firmware myself? Or does it require a lot of work - I never use the RES button so changing that to valve control for me would be ideal,

Thanks for your info! Appreciate it!
