Default No mods to Pure Stage 2 - 07-03-2016, 09:20 PM

Hi,

I will have the following mods installed to my 2014 X1 35i soon.

1). JB4-Type B harness + bluetooth kit
2). ER chargepipe
3). ******* ******** (n54 tuning?)
4). ER Intercooler
5). Pure Stage 2 Turbo
6). N55 PURE High Flow Inlet Pipe
7). N55 Diverter Upgrade DV(Plus)

Just want to confirm a few things here. I am planning to run 94 octane fuel on my car. Do I just go straight to JB4 Map 2 and start logging?

Are there any special settings I need to adjust on the JB4 because I have a big turbo before I can use the pre-set maps? I don't plan to use meth or ethanol. Do I need the Flex-fuel wires?

Hey,
I'd start map 1 first log it to ensure everything is good before moving to map 2. What 94 are you using? (Personally I use husky 94 in Canada as they have higher ethanol content which makes it real 94 compared to petro which doesn't have as much ethanol, and uses too nuch additives making octane quality go down).

I'm pretty sure the new jb4's come with the FF wires already. You should have EWG wires if you plan on exceeding map 2.
