Default How To Install the Brightest LED Angel Eyes (E9X, E8X) - 05-31-2019, 01:01 PM

I installed some LUX H8 LED angel eyes and want to share the process with anyone else on the fence about it. Upgrading the angel eye bulbs are one of my favorite appearance modifications you can do for these cars. They’re relatively cheap, easy to install and greatly improve the look of any BMW.

I have the same set in my 135i and they've been holding up great for years. Very white, very bright... I wouldn't go with anything else. If you prefer the guide in written format instead of video, I wrote a complete blog post about it with more photos.

I always found these kinds of LED's don't look right on E-series. They wildly light up the inside halo and leave the outside one as dim or dimmer than stock. Instead I went with a 2500k halogen and coded a higher voltage. Somehow the light from normal bulbs distributes better through the light tubes. Just my opinion obviously.
