Default Flashing Hazards - 07-28-2018, 11:51 AM

Iím running HPDE with NASA today and keep seeing my hazards flashing when accelerating. Iíve seen this on occasion in normal driving but on the track itís literally to the point of distraction.

Any feedback on what I should look for?

I have the E84 X1 version of the JB4 with 70/2//5 firmware.

Thanks

The flashing hazards are indicators for you to upshift. It is a feature of jb4.

Check out this link to adjust the jb4 settings for "shift light".

The car is an automatic, so is there a way to just disable this?

I have the same setting on my automatic 335i. You can go through the jb4 settings and disable it. The link i posted should have the information to guide you through disabling it.

I changed the shift indicator rpm to 8500 (higher than I ever go) and it still does it. I assume this is what I change in the JB4 connect app.
