yup stacked with jb4. i might try map 3 with a 70 or 75 adder and log. even though i am running terry's map it still made me buy the increased boost limit. martial said he'd credit me though once the version for jb4 users is released next week. truthfully i just want my 18 and 18.2 lbs of boost back i used to hit in the midrange. i have to check out my map 6 settings. its hard to tell because i am using firmware 28.8 but only log with jb4 mobile and change settings in jb4 mobile and that doesn't support 28.8. like i told terry the only reason i bought the mhd was to have an all in one device that can flash and run my jb4mobile to log. i really wanted to just do everything from my phone. i guess with this being so new we just have to wait and see.

i sent you over some logs, didn't realize i emailed you 8 logs though, sorry. just a little confused why my targets are so low.

and forgot to mention, no matter what i do i cant get the pedal to read 100%. in yesterdays 4 logs and todays 8 logs. 95,96,97% but never 100

also just noticed in tuner pro the difference between the bb flash from april 2 for ijeos and the mhd flash you sent me is 1963 bytes using the difference finder in tuner pro. thats a lot of changes.

i was hitting much higher boosts with the april 2 6mt ijeos bb flash and 28.5

Yes, any BIN that you create with TP or other application can be flashed via MHD... The biggest advantage of MHD is that is contains the new checksum logic allowing manipulation of an increased boost ceiling (equivalent of Cobb Race Logic) as well as some other torque limit tables.

Using 4/3 before you were seeing more peak boost because teh flash was forcing the boost target higher. I'm going to be revising map 7 soon for higher targets. But until then map 3 using meth safety mode = 3, lets you dial in a nice curve, even without meth. A 70 additive would give a nice 19psi peak.

Once we purchase the program, can we flash back and forth as many times as we want? From what I understand, as long as we pay for the program we don't have to pay anymore to use it to flash as many custom BINs I want to my VIN and only would have to pay if I want the OTS maps or a custom Wedge flash with the "race logic"

Just got approved to Beta test and sadly my old Android phone was outdated so I ordered the suggested "Astro Queo A712" for $42 shipped. It's been confirmed that it works and it comes with an OTG cable. Should have the tablet tomorrow or Thursday and then my E85/Meth flash testing will begin!

This is nice, but not worth making a post for. It doesn't provide any useful information.

Hi Terry and guys,
Sorry for my question, I'm not sure if it is correct for this thread. I cannot use my e92 DKG transmission at high boost with this modifications; VTT 2, BMS race flash & meth... The DCT gear box slides! Does someone experience the same?

Thanks in advance,
Juan

Yeah, you're likely pretty far past the Torque limits of the stock gearbox...

I think Dodson makes an upgrade for the DKG/DCT e90 gearboxes? I'd check google for clutch upgrade options or modify the tune to request less torque.

I've tested the DCT all the way to 580 wtq, 80k+ miles, car was tracked almost every week, raced almost every day, and with absolutely no signs of slippage. Not to mention how many driveshafts I've destroyed. That's not his issue......

So they're still accepting beta testers, but then telling others to wait for open beta this week???? looks like I'll be sticking to the bms backened flashing.

Terry can you please release your own version of this so we know it's trustworthy??? Lol

I'm in the beta program and the flash works great. Using it to flash backend JB4 maps... much better than the laptop app, which I occasionally had problems with on my K-Line

I thought it might be cool to have custom (reliable!) DCAN cables with a micro-USB that goes right in the android device made eliminating the need for an adapter. But I haven't had time to look in to it yet.

For those using the MHD to load JB4 flashes the software charge is only $79 which I think isn't too bad considering.

I wouldn't say Martial isn't trustworthy... He's trying to run a business and if you ask him enough times to take your money, he'll likely say yes... Lol

whats the difference between the bb maps posted in the sticky and the mhd maps you sent us terry? different logic? In tuner pro the difference between the bb flash from april 2 for ijeos and the mhd flash you sent me is 1963 bytes using the difference finder in tuner pro. just trying to understand a little better.

car runs great and logs look good with 28.81 firmware and the mhd map you provided.
thanks

I think just Increased torque limits and boost limit to take advantage of the new checksums with MHD. I'll let Terry explain more

No... I meant the app, not the cable. They don't answer easy questions terry asks about posting logs or explaining aspects of how they're tuning, so I'm finding it hard to take them serious now. Especially if you have to "beg" someone to take your money. Oh well I'm over this new "trend" and will just stick with whatever bms is pushing from now on.

I'm always glad to hear something like this! I have a DCT car with under 40k on the clock. Hoping it's still solid. Only 8k miles with a JB4 and *** on it.
