Didn't see this question get answered.

I have the same harness, can I upgrade to G5 board with it?

Thanks!!

Terry, with ISO 19, is map0 back to being a real passthrough map?

my question is, can I run COBB natively while on map0? and more importantly can I still log?

Thank you!

With the JB4 in place even on map 0 you can't do anything via the OBDII port with the vehicle moving. You'd have to remove the JB4 all together to log via Cobb, for example.

Whether or not youre running iso shouldn't have any effect on map 0. its a pass through map meaning the obd ll port will NOT be blocked and the performance should be just about stock, maybe minus a small amount of boost. If you want true stock performance use map 4.

With ISO there is no true pass through map. Map 0 allows OBDII communications while not under boost & when under boost targets factory boost targets. Map 4 is like map 0 only it keeps can going full time (on and off boost), and runs the in dash gauges, auto clear, and other user selected settings.

Just wondering which map we need to use with my G5 ISO on 1m with FMIC, N55 midpipe, DCI and bov on 94 octane only? Any setting to do in the interface? Do we continue with map 6 like G4 board ?

Thank!

Having some frustrating trouble, but I believe it's something I'm doing wrong. I just installed my G5, so I needed to update my interface from an old version. I uninstalled the old version from my computer, and downloaded the new zip file. Now when I click the setup.exe file, I get this message:

The following error occurred attempting to install 'C:\DOCUME~1\Ian\LOCALS~1\Temp\jZip\jZip7CB\jZip31 261\JB4.application':
"The system cannot find the file specified. "

See the setup log file located at 'C:\DOCUME~1\Ian\LOCALS~1\Temp\VSD33.tmp\install.l og' for more information.

Does anyone have any clue on what I'm doing wrong here with installing the interface? Any help is appreciated.

If you didn't uninstall the old JB4 from the Control Panel/Programs, then there are hidden files in your computer that prevent you from reinstalling.
If that is the case you can try using Wise Care 365/ Program Uninstaller. It will find all the associated files and delete them. Then restart the computer and try loading again. Install Drivers first, then hit Set-up to load the rest.

Based on the filepath it seems like you're trying to install from inside the zip archive. Try extracting everything first and then install.

Thank you very much for the help! This was exactly what it was. It's been a while since I installed my last JB4 interface and I forgot that I had to do this.

Do a log and look at your boost vs setpoint. If your not getting tip in boost overshoot....with throttle closure.... your good to go.

Lagfix values greater than about 65 do not do much anyway.

With the G4 integrated, does setting Lagfix to 0 run the DME default wastegate settings?

I noticed in the G5 ISO thread that with the new default wastegate position option that replaces Lagfix, stock-like result would be setting of 10-15. Does the same apply to the old G4?

Just asking because I normally run Lagfix 0 for the smoothness in daily driving, but I noticed a slightly different feel when running Map 0 the other day that felt a little better.

Figure I ask before trying it out and making a $400-500 mistake...anyone here running the interface on a windows 8 tablet yet without any issues? I was thinking of replacing my netbook.
