I'm in a Z4. The DME box is on a left hand (driver's) side. I've yet to figure out how to get the wire into the cabin.

Take a screwdriver and lift the steering wheel column boot away from the car's firewall.
The firewall will have a sharp edge to it..... so place a short length of tygon tubing
(split to go around the USB wire) where it goes through the firewall.... for protection.

Did a dyno on the 17B with a 335is today on map 5. Was pretty strong @ ~412rw using a 40% E85 mix. Has ********* and DCI IIRC.

Trying to work up the E85 percentage a bit at a time at 3.25 gal into the full tank now. I will be getting fuel over the weekend to boost the percentage & will run a few logs.

No ** or DCI but I do have an FMIC.

You'd have to look at your logs to ensure it's safe. Map 7 won't check for timing drops, etc, so you're on your own for it.

Way too much E85. Threw fuel code on map7 and map 5 has a stutter at WOT...adding more 93 tomorrow.

Yes I've noticed the 335is in particular is pretty sensitive to fuel pressure down low on E85 due to its natively richer air/fuel targets. Of course one solution is the BMS flash, but I have a JB4 programming tweak in mind that might help a bit too.

If the station has any today will try 4.5 gal into a full tank of 93. That's 1.3 gal more than the last mix. Will try to get some logs Sat/Sun if no quick codes. I am running 17B

EDIT Misty out will have to put off the logs. That being said no codes during the 3 third gear runs to set the map.

Default Will Cutting G5 Diodes Out Void My Warranty? - 03-22-2013, 10:08 AM

Just upgraded from JB4 G4 to G5. Before cutting the diodes out, I would like to know if this will void my warranty.

Until you learn more about the system and how it works, I wouldn't cut the diodes yet. Get familiar with connecting your laptop to the system, settings, etc. Then other members can advise you about how to address the wastegate rattle. And life itself will have fewer rattles if you put periods after the last word of a sentence. (kidding) Cheers!

I removed the diodes and I'm running regular ISO, so if you feel like no running on beta you don't have to
