psi_curve[9] = 50 '6000
psi_curve[10] = 40 '6500
psi_curve[11] = 35 '7000

MAP 1
psi_curve[0] = 20 '1500
psi_curve[1] = 20 '2000
psi_curve[2] = 25 '2500
psi_curve[3] = 35 '3000

psi_curve[8] = 40 '5500
psi_curve[9] = 40 '6000
psi_curve[10] = 40 '6500
psi_curve[11] = 35 '7000
So Terry if I want to create a gentle map at low rpm and then adding more boost at the top end, like an hybrid version between map 1 and 2, I could make something like this, right? Of course the values are just an idea to show the concept.

psi_curve[0] = 15 '1500
psi_curve[1] = 15 '2000
psi_curve[2] = 15 '2500
psi_curve[3] = 20 '3000
psi_curve[4] = 25 '3500
psi_curve[5] = 30 '4000
psi_curve[6] = 40 '4500
psi_curve[7] = 50 '5000
psi_curve[8] = 50 '5500
psi_curve[9] = 50 '6000
psi_curve[10] = 45 '6500
psi_curve[11] = 35 '7000

Assuming that:
1. these values represent additive values for boost based on a decimal psi scale
2. If 1500 is below 10, then they will be additive values, and if 1500 is over 10 they will be absolute values

So in order to achieve an additive +5psi map with low torque, I do need to write these values under 'Map 6 Boost' like

1500= 1.5
2000= 1.5
2500 = 1.5
3000 = 2.0
3500 = 2.5
4000 = 3.0
4500 = 4.0
5000 = 5.0
5500 = 5.0
6000 = 5.0
6500 = 4.5
7000 = 3.5

Is is correct?

You could try that but the key is always to log and evaluate to ensure it's doing what you expect.

Those values represent additive values.

Waiting for MHD to release it but I'm sure it won't be too long now!

Awesome. I quite like the way you programmed this file to switch to Map 8 and switch back automatically. You don’t need to make any adjustments to that.

Is it possible, when you get some time, to help out with the code read?
Code read not working is super annoying. Having to switch dongles, open Carly, and that is very time consuming compared to JB4 app.

Seems I canít determine if meth is flowing or not; John does that work for you and btw code read does work when you have an error and deletes. When you check next time it gives you an invalid read as message on hex6.

Yes. My meth works properly and displays properly.
Do you have a BMS Meth Kit? FSB Wired to correct pins?

Yes bms kit and connected. meth works for me when meth trigger set to 1. What maps are you running John? Have you tried the meth map3 with additive or you using map 6custom tuning on top of flash?

I was using Map 1, 2, 3 before the flash switching around. Now I use Map 6 at 0psi to control meth and trigger safeties on top of my flash.

A few questions for you all... what's the latest stable firmware? The 1st post is years old and doesn't seem like it's been edited. I'm currently on 48/4//5... I see there are two hex files, so far I've only used the first one ending in OBDII_4.

Are the maps that are usable the only ones that are in the 1st post? So anything above map 4 is useless?!

Also, my biggest question, is there a guide on how to tune the settings? I'd like to do more than just use the maps, I'd like to fine tune some more, but so far I'm not finding much info on how to do so. It's becoming extremely frustrating not finding info on how to properly use this thing.... I'm using the JB4 via BT/the app.

Thanks in advance...

-edit-
Attaching a quick pull I did yesterday, which netted me a code 12BE08: lean to rich, slow reaction.

JCW tune + JB4
******* down pipe

Not a fault code I've seen before. Any intake? What fuel?

Timing looks to be dropping here a bit on just map1 so seems like a lower grade fuel. Mix in some E85 to get octane up perhaps?

Terry, do you have any separate contact? I was going to PM you but didn't see an option to. I have a 2019 X2 M35i and have a question.

I have a 2019 Mini Countryman with a manual transmission. I am trying to figure out how to get the OBDII cable through. I appears like there is a cable (for the transmission) that goes through the hole my friend's mini uses. How do I get the cable through, is there a way to force it or do I have to drill a hole or something.

Thanks for the response. Stock intake, 91 california octane. Can try a different station next time. I also moved back temporarily to stock down pipe, as I'm swapping the ***** less pipe to a ceramic coated one so we'll see what happens.

May you please confirm for me my question about the maps? Also may you or anyone else able to provide a guide for tuning, even if a general one that might be recommended? I'd like to learn more, if possible... thanks.

Hello
I have a mini cooper where I installed a JB4 and an intake billet filter (BMS) I would like to know where I find the best firmware to configure Jb4, and get the best power of my vehicle.
