***** Performance is the guy you want to talk to. He helped me out, I work for the big blue place and I work on computers every day but, this I was not comfortable with. He setup a custom tune for me and did this Alpina flash for me. He remoted into my computer and I also had him on the phone. Flashed the Alpina tune and it's been great!

Yeah, I converse a bit with cwarren(he also did my walnut blasting and I intend to have him install my DP's) and he says ***** is the man. I got the flash done successfully myself but had trepidation just like you....***** was definitely my backup plan if it went south! In fact, I just bought the MHD software and flashed with a stage 1 tune by *****. First drive with the "new" engine will be tomorrow!

NCSExpert eludes me. I've been driving around on the flash for a couple of months now, but it disabled my paddles. I've tried the walkthroughs and everything makes sense...but whatever software distribution I have doesn't seem to *have* NCSExpert. Is this a different package that normally doesnt come with WinKFP or Edibas?

Where should I be looking?

I'm still at a loss on NCSExpert. The folder doesnt exist, all the downloads I've found are whacky russian URLs that dont seem trustworthy.

I installed this update a while back. I installed the flash and it seems to work properly, but have never been to read anything on RPM shifter dropping to zero when shifting in manual mode.

Has anyone experienced this and fixed it?

I have a Nov 2010 build 335 N55.

I have a 535xi. 05/07 build. I did the flash the car started fine. Then when trying to engage gear it shows that the brake pedal is not recognized. So basically the transmission isn't recognizing the pedal.

You should have read the thread first before diving in. Won't work with an E60 transmission. There are multiple posts about it and explaining why.

My identification shows 7591971 and date 14.4.2008, does that mean my TCU never been updated?

I'm planning to go for the Alpina flash but checked if I can go back to my old flash and seems the 7591971 not listed, how I can make sure I can go back to stock in case?
