Default JB4 Mobile App Compatibility - 07-01-2015, 02:35 PM
Sorry, been out of the JB4 Gane for a while. Is the mobile app that has been developed compatible with the M version of the JB4? Is the JB4 software the same for all platforms. I am about to pull the trigger on an Android tablet with OTG support and run it in my car full time for use with my JB4. Appreciate any direction here. Thanks.

Yes there is IOS as well.

Terry sorry one more question, will JB4 software run on a windows 8.1 tablet? I am thinking perhaps just getting a 7" winbook with full USB port now. This one:

The Bluetooth is compatible... The issue is you can't get any power to power up the USB end since there's no way for you to route the wire through the glove compartment.. Unless Terry thought of a way?

this tablet has a usb port on it. so you should be able to plug it in, run the app and keep the tablet charged via cig lighter. am i wrong?

You are right. Just need to confirm the JB4 software works on the Winbook.
