Default JB4 and IS38 with 1.8t - 08-14-2020, 02:26 PM

I just received an IS38 and will be installing it tomorrow to replace the IS12 in my Golf MK7. I won't be able to get it to a flash tuner right away and have a JB4 currently equipped. Being a relative beginner when it comes to modding my golf, I'm looking for advice on a good starting point using the JB4 to tune the engine in order to utilize the upgraded turbo. Any suggestions are welcome, my apologies in advance if there is a thread that covers this topic already. I had not seen any forum that had the information I'm looking for to help me after the turbo swap.

You will likely need to keep the boost under 20 psi. Start with Map 1 and do a log and work from there. You'll need to go Map 6 to get the most out of it.
