2017 440i EWG Issues with JB4 -

Hey everyone,
Wanted to start out by saying that I have used Burger products for several years and love the results and customer service. My issue is that I just installed a brand new JB4 (with new EWG harness already hardwired into the harness) and updated the firmware to Version 19 based on suggestion of customer support. No matter what map is selected (0-3), I am getting the following codes: 123412 - electric wastegate, stop learning: stop position (wastegate closed) not found 123401 - Wastegate learning stop during *** heading cycle 123437 - no description found 120408 - reduced power mode I unplugged the EWG and haven’t gotten a code since yesterday and the car seems to be driving fine. The only other mod on the car is an intake. Anyone run into this or have a work around? 2017 440i Coupe

I have a 440ix and I am getting the same codes on my car. Like you I got the new JB4 with the ewg pre-installed. Only other mods are a BMS air intake and pipe. Already told map 2 looks good, if I clear the codes, which takes 2 times. First time to clear the ewg codes and the second time clears the reduced power. Today they had me take a pic of my circuit board.
I also have one other code showing up. 123411 electric wastegate, stop learning, stop position (wastegate open) Not Found

It might be related to a firmware change we made here, will start to get to the bottom of it. Until then just leave EWG disconnected if you have the fault.

Looks pretty good...trims are pretty much maxed out so keep an eye on that.

No, you'll need to add our BEF, CPI, or meth to resolve that.
