Default JB4 on an Alpina B6 - 05-06-2019, 04:08 PM

I have a 2017 Alpina B6 which uses an engine based on the N63TU but with upgraded turbos, pistons, fueling, exhaust, trans, and cooling. It is then remapped to the tune of 600hp.

I would like to extract more power out of the set up, but I am leary of just throwing on a JB4 without knowing what exactly is going to happen on the Alpina. Does anyone know of someone putting a JB4 on an Alpina? LInks, or data, or any info whatsoever is helpful. I emailed BurgerTuning but got nothing but didn't have much luck in getting any useful info.

I would venture a guess that the dme and other related connections are all the same, so the JB4 should hook right up. I would venture a guess that they would say go ahead and hook it up, run a baseline log to see how everything is running, and then start making changes from there. Do you have a picture by the way? I believe an owner/manager at a local dealer in Westlake Village CA has an Alipina B6, or at least used to.

The first step would be to install the JB4, leave it on map0 (factory tuning), and post or email a data log so we can evaluate the tuning and next steps for getting more power out of it.
