Default N20 3.5Bar TMAP sensor install - 03-07-2019, 06:55 PM

Is there a specific work flow to follow when installing these?

Ordered an authentic VDO/Siemens/Continental 3.5BAR map sensor, adapted the harness, started it up and the gauges on my JB4 app was indicated ~14PSI at idle.

Revved it a couple times and it lowered bit by bit until it hit ~1PSI. Thought it was an adaptation thing so I reset those via steering wheel controls, no dice. No improvement. Test drive yielded severe surging and really high readings ~20PSI @ 2000RPM.

N20 TMAP in user settings is set to 1
JB4 is up date with the 32 12 T10 hex file

Log attached, please advise. Thank you!

There isnít any adaptation period for the n20 sensor / adapter install- assuming your sensor is good, and all connections are solid- shouldnít have any issues.

Are you running a BEF too?

Yeah, I’m stacking a BEF with the JB4. No N20 sensor selection during flash time.
Verified that it’s set to 4/2.

I’ll verify wiring today.

Crisis averted. Pin 4 (+) on harness side was pushed in/recessed. Ordered and installed a new pin. Car runs great now.
