Default Map6 4.5 psi flat review - 01-04-2019, 08:27 AM

Hi,

I like this setting so far. Please review for any concerns. I seem to be reaching fuel limits. Thoughts?

Thank you.

Alex

Your like at stock boost levels and such you should try a flat 16 or 17 psi across the board.

I have many runs with that setting, but timing was poor and frankly, my acceleration was not as good. To me it is the old boost vs timing. After numerous runs, using both additive and absolute, I now find Map6 with 4.5 psi flat is better than 4 psi flat, better than Map1,2,3,5, and map 6 at 14.5 through 17 flat. Map2 is a close second. I do not understand why timing appears worse with absolute maps. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. I run exclusively 93 octane with no additives.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Alex
