Default Something isn't right... help! - 11-18-2019, 04:58 PM

Hi Terry, can you look at my log and dragy slip and let me know why the results are so poor? I have a G70 and was getting similar times on Map 3. I have since added an intake and WMI with the JB4 set to Map 8. I have noticed that during shifts under high boost, I hear boost being released from the BPV. Is this the problem and would adding BOVs help? Thank you for all of your help!

0-60 isn't really a useful measure for performance. Too short and entirely dependent on the launch. 1/4 mile traps is the way to go or worst case 1/8th mile traps.

But the issue here is it hit the rev limiter ups-shifting. Try manually shifting at a lower RPM as a test.

Thank you for the quick reply! I'll try to get a 1/4 mile log and also give manual shifting a shot to see if that helps. Does the octane look good and also is there something wrong with my WMI setup as it does not report 100% flow during the whole run? I have AWD so I didn't think I was pushing the traction limits yet during launch. I am running 93 octane with a Boostane mix of 99 octane. What is the suggested boost additive for that octane and temperatures in the 40s? Thanks for your support!

Sorry missed this reply. Map3 should be fine for the octane booster!
