Try that and also set your DWP low.

Just to follow up, i tried what pure said with fud bit7....and lowered dwp. It no longer rattled with low dwp, but the rapid blow off is still there lol.

What do you have DWP set to? You may just need to go lower.

After having installed inlets and noticing the unsmooth acceleration with it, I just paid for tuning and dropped the JB4. The custom tuning, having someone else do it, smoothed it out for me. No weird sounds. But I also run stock airbox.

Switched to a different bov (same orientation as oem style diverter valves...its a Tial qrj with 3 psi spring so its open at idle) and put a breather filter on the end so as to not suck in any debris. the car makes a normal crisp air release blow off noise when releasing the throttle after boost (no more weird howl) but still begins to rapidly blow off half the time while low throttle cruising. Starting to think maybe its not a valve issue like bradsm87 suggested, and more related to what pure has suggested.

Boost I's exceeding boost request at part throttle. So what you are ď experiencing I's the results of the throttle fluctuating to control boost

Exactly.

It's in the tuning!

See post #59 where I explain the same thing, 2.5 months ago!
