looks good, but a bit short because of the 8 speed gear ratios

try getting a longer log of 4th into 5th

Thanks.

Do you think I should change any values like Open Loop?

I will do a better run of 4th in 5th later.

You did, for about 1/2 a second.

it looks fine, timing is good and stable. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey Guys,

as wished here is a 4th gear Log in Map5.

I hope everything is fine .

User Adjustable Settings are identical as above, except of FF/Wastegate Adaption, it raised to 91.

Can you also tell me why boost is sometimes higher than target?

Thanks for your support .

Boost exceeds target because your FF is a little too high. Lower it to 80.

Thanks Steve, I will change it to 80 and will do a log tomorrow.

Is the FF/Wastegate Adaption value only self adjusting in map5 or also in map2?

It's self adjusting on all maps.

Steve,

here`s a run in map5 from 4th to 5th gear with FF 81 (I`ve set FF to 80 but it self adjusted to 81).

Sometimes boost is still higher than target...

Thanks for your support .

Yes, but look at the variation in your RPMs...that's either spinning, rough road, or trans issues. That probably contributed to the throttle closures and thus the overboost. I wouldn't make any assumptions based on that log.

FF will adjust itself. Try to do another log with a better RPM slope.

Hey Steve,

can you please check my log? In some reason I have still some overboosting. It that`s the reason that throttle is opening and closing all the time?

What can I do?

Sorry I missed this.

The N55 typically has more throttle closures but none of which are very severe and don't look to be impacting performance.

Your overboost is pretty minimal, it should learn down but you can always lower your FF a couple points. However I don't know that I would worry about it in your case.

IAT's were getting up there...that may have affected your post shift timing a bit. Otherwise it looks pretty good.

Sorry for disturbing you again.

But I just got some error codes while driving with highspeed on german autobahn.

Here are the codes:
102001 Air mass, plausibility -- Tuner code, ignore
128901 Lambda probe before catalytic converter, dynamic: slow reaction
101F01 Throttle valve opening angle pressure -- Ignore, tuner code
119404 Rail pressure sensor, signal stuck

Could you please tell me what`s going wrong?

My actual settings:

That log looks fine, would need to see a log when the actual codes appear.

Hey Steve,

here`s a log (Log with error code) when the actual codes appear.

This always happen when I drive into 250km/h speedlimiter on autobahn.

But at this time i was logging the only error code was
119404 Rail pressure sensor, signal stuck

The user adjustments are identical as above.

After that I deleted this codes and started a new "normal" log from 3rd to 5th gear. I also attached it above.

Thank you very much.

Is this always at the same speed and you're hitting the speed limiter? I can see that the rail pressures are pretty high, but once you hit the limiter the throttle closes but the rail pressures don't drop. Looks like they stay pretty high due to the drop in boost and rise in AFR's.

In your 3-5 log, the rail pressures are just as high and it's not an issue, so I think it may be due to you hitting the speed limiter, throttle closing, but your rail pressures remaining high.

The Problem always appears when I am hitting the Speed limiter, in other cases I don`t have any problems like this.

Can you please tell me what I can do to avoid this Problem?

Driving slower? It`s not an option .

I don't believe there is anything we can do about the speed limiter.
