I would like to know about this since I just recently started running e30 and noticed the numbers under e85 in the cvs file are different.

4 flashes = low meth flow

Default Need help maybe injectors - 08-17-2019, 08:42 AM

I have attached a log, I have changed spark plugs and coils. I can not do a full pull without going into limp mode. I have a 335xi n54 upgraded pure stage 2 turbos with full bolt ons with upgraded inlets this pull I was running 6 gallons of E85. I have xhp stage 3 trans flash and use jb4 custom hybrid turbo E85 backend flash.
Im thinking it might be the injectors because I get a check engine light for misfire in cylinder 6 often and 4 sometimes. I have index 9 and I know index 12 is suggested for tuned cars.

Any other ideas or is it bad injectors?
Thanks,

Finally found and fixed this bug. Also have new flex maps for those running the MHD flex fuel sensor and the Fuel-IT flex fuel sensor. Both are supported.

T11) Fixed issue with E85 reading not showing properly when using MHD back end flash flex fuel integration, enabled on WMI page bit2 on for DTML Flex Input.

Newbie here with a some basic questions about JB4 maps.

Recently installed d-***** and switched JB4 from Map 1 to Map 2. I had run Map 5 while only DCI+FMIC but it felt inconsistent so I left it running Map 1.

Map 2 felt good initially, definitely more power. I noticed that Map 2 seemed to be targeting 17 PSI (according to gauge hijack) which doesn't align with map definitions listed in the first page of this sticky. Map 2 should be 14.5 PSI.

Ambient temps are falling nicely here in the PNW so yesterday on my Sunday morning spin I decided to switch over the Map 5 and do a few WOTs to let the JB4 learn what's up...

Holy crap! Wow is there more available power low down in Map 5, particularly in 1st and 2nd gear. Less of a noticeable difference in 3rd gear which is already rocketship-mode as we all now. Let's just say tires were "accidentally" spun at green lights more than a couple of times. The odd thing is now according to gauge hijack the car is only targeting 15 PSI... so apparently lower boost target than Map 2 (based on gauge hijack not advertised settings), yet feels stronger.

Wondering if anyone has had similar experiences, and could speak to the technical reasons why Map 5 might feel stronger at lower boost.

Thanks in advance

Trebila custom tune up next!

Greetings forum members , i have a problem with my n54 335i. Mods are : vrsf intercooler , ar cattles ** , rb inlets and outlets , vrsf chargepipe with hks blowoff valve , jb4 and mhd bef , fuel it stage 2 lpfp. I have recently tested my car with my dragy box with map 5 ( 13.1 sec at 107mph) and with the race fuel mhd back end flash (13.4 at 106mph) . I noticed that my times and speeds are bad . Thats why i wanted to ask help to look into my logs and find a solution for what i am doing wrong. Since i live in a country in soith america where we dont have a lot of tuners i am trying to learn things myself. Any help would be appreciated. The logs are attached.both logs were made with 97 octane renegade racing fuel. Dragy info: 79 fahrenheid

I need to update my firmware, but the big red note says:
ď***DO NOT UPLOAD FIRMWARE UNTIL YOU READ THIS *** All Duty Bias must be set to 0 or 50 to avoid 30FF under boost codes. 3rd gear boost limiting should also be set to 0 to disable. Menu4 in dash should be set to 3 for a factory flashed car or 2 for a back end flashed car. Failure to follow these directions will result in poor performance and 30FF or 30FE fault codes.***

I have a custom Trebila Performance (map 6) tune that has duty bias at 50 until 5,000 rpm then it goes up from there. Is that going to cause error messages and/or problems? (Or is it intended to say equal to or greater than 50?)

Thanks!
