Do we all emit black smoke on start up? -

My car runs a bit rich, though not bad at WOT.
Every start up, black smoke emits.
I know I need to replace the injectors, which is happening soon.
That said, I see the black (fuel, based on smell) on every start, even if just off for 1 minute. (Watching someone else start it. It can't be seen in rear view mirror)
I still have stock exhaust.
Typical when modded?
Just ignore it?
Or uncommon and likely to clear after injector replacement?

Never had a black smoke on startup, could be carbon build up? Any walnut blasting done? A friend bough a used e92 but it was buffing black smoke on flooring it I guess previous owner never floored it and used low grade fuel, an injector cleaner and few pulls cleared it all.

Rubbish. I was hoping it was due to out tunes.
I do WOT many times a day and walnut blasting and liquid port cleaning done (ports visually look clean).
Will update after injector replacement.

I throw out an unfortunate amount of soot in a liquid suspension on startup, which I attribute to startup richness. It's enough to make a fun little spray pattern on my garage door if I ever test fire - note that after I saw it once I never leave my garage door down for any reason when starting. That said, it doesn't smoke... Just does that for a minute or so.

i had a JB4 tune and no smoke, moved to COBB and no smoke at all.
