Default Mud stage 2 flash with jb4 - 12-08-2018, 07:40 PM

Hs anyone tried to stack the JB4 with the mhd maps? If so which JB4 map did you run and did you change any other setttings? I kind of want to test out the mud vs bef to see which one I like better.

Sure you can use any flash you want. But it's a waste of money IMHO. Better off hiring a customer tuner like David or Wedge to modify the free JB4 BEF to be whatever you want.

I did not know that was possible... I guess I’ve got some research to do.

Does anyone know the screen names of those that do custom tunes via MHD? I was going to buy their stage 2+ tune and run it stacked with JB4 on map 0 or 1.

My main reasoning for this is due to the DCT behavior with the BEF. The car pulls hard WOT, but the DCT drive ability at partial throttle and in traffic is not very "smooth". Throttle mapping is good, but my DCT box is noticeably worse from a "clunks per mile" standpoint.

I would like to keep a flash and JB4 over switching platforms all together, but have to change something as the DCT being jerkier than normal and doing weird things bothers me.

Which BEF file? They should all be perfectly smooth. Post a lot of it clucking and we'll what adjustments are needed.

Trebila is a popular S55 tuner around here.
