I dropped my 60' and 1/4 mile a tenth on my first outting with the LSD.

On the fence 3.08 vs 3.46 ugh. Fbo-manual. want to do single in the spring...hopefully.

I was in the same position except I got a n55 with a Vargas stage 2 going in over the winter. Turbo cars in general like taller gears so they hold boost. I went with the 3.08 and I love it.

Absolutely horrified of getting the diff in, then in the spring I get what upgrade I like the best and it doesn't end up working well with the diff gearing I got.

Yeah I get that but either way my opinion is taller gears for a turbo car. I would of actually liked s little taller than the 3.08. It'll just hold boost better and longer. Plus the aftermarket turbos for these cars aren't to slow on the spool so I wouldn't want to small of a gear.

3 x 135i/335i 3.08 MT/AT Large Cores with Helical LSD - $2279.95 inc shipping (+$100 to Canada) and core fee ($500 refundable if we receive your old core back within 30 days)

2 x 135i/335i 3.46 MT/AT Large Cores with Helical LSD - $1999.95 inc shipping (+$100 to Canada) and core fee ($500 refundable if we receive your old core back within 30 days)

2 x 135i/335i 3.46 AT Small Cores with Helical LSD - $1999.95 inc shipping (+$100 to Canada) and core fee ($500 refundable if we receive your old core back within 30 days)

We also have 1 x 335d Core with Helical LSD, but we still need to test fitment of the machined ring gear (trial and error with the spacer. The 1st one we had done last week was off slightly, so we need to make another spacer). Don't lose any more sleep. Get the 3.08. I got the 3.46 and wish I had stuck with 3.08. Don't get me wrong - its a blast, but I miss the 3.08 6th gear. I have JB4 - there was no need to go 3.46.
