Default trouble starting N54 after swap - 02-24-2017, 08:30 AM

just finished a swap on a 335xi n54 2008 bought the car with a working motor with a loud knock, purchased an engine from a reputable source, after long hard weeks of completing the swap on the car I have not put the radiator on or the transmission cooler. put new oil in the motor had to put a new starter because old one stopped cranking even before I put the new motor in I wanted to see if the new motor would crank over which it does, however I don't believe I have spark (test performed to conclude this- I used old spark plug pulled coil out and placed spark plug with coil attached to the motor and cranked with the lights off and confirmed there is no spark, my basic question here is will the engine turn on without coolant without radiator or fan and the rest of the front components I was not going to let motor run for more than ten seconds if it did start just wanted to confirm it worked before having to take the front off again is there anything that I might have missed or anything to check or code after a swap, injectors are pumping found out when one of the nuts on fuel line wasn't full tight and sprayed fuel on the windshield motor was from a 335xi 08 same year I also have a jb4 that was in the car from before, this is my first n54 and first ever swap on a car motor so hold back on the lashings thank you for all input

Not much to go on, but just to eliminate the JB4 as being related remove it.
