They are exhaust tips so we expect them to get beat up. Not much of a warranty offered unless something is an obvious manufacturing defect.

Got mine just the other day, tried installing these badboys but they dont seem to fit the MPE....
The inside clamps are made to secure to a smaller diameter pipe than what came with my MPE as you can see in the pics.

Looks like im hooped, and they are so nice

Is that a Golf with a BMW badge?

EDIT: Oops, never mind. Just noticed you said it was an F20 135. We don't get those in the US. Only hatchbacks we get are the F34 and F36.

Received my set of black tips this weekend. Really nice quality product, fitment was perfect.

I will say, removing the oem tips was harder than i expected but they just need a few really solid hits to get them off. Thanks BMS.

Another question:
Does the top of the angle cut exhaust tip stick out further from the diffuser than the straight cut?
Thanks

Well I guess the problem is the diffuser you have. I guess it looks even worse with the smaller stock tips?

Anyways you CAN fix that. You need to shorten the 2 brackets where it exhaust is hooked up to the underside of the car. Take exhaust off, cut off 1cm (or how much higher you want it to be) and weld back together.

Is your MPE pipe diameter also 2.5in (63mm)?

I thought the same, and I did try to compress the clamps to allow it to slip on more easily but it dint seem to work.

I dont own the car anymore and sold the tips but they would have looked awesome if I could've fit them that's for sure.

Anything further about tips that fit on an E9x? or on how difficult it is to get the OEM tips off an E92/E93 (if its even possible at all without completely cutting them)?
