They are ignored. I'd set all to 0 to avoid confusion in the future.

I just loaded 5.8 @ Lunch, can't wait to try it out to see my fuel trims!

The N54 ISO has a Notes.txt file that lists FUD, FUA parameters. Is ours the same, or will we get a Notes.txt file?

Wanted to note also. I think my flashers are going off well before the oil temp is reached. Was watching the gauge and it didn't move till 3-4minutes of driving after the flashers went. Il need to get the digital reading next time.

FYI, my boost limiter for 3rd gear was set to 1 after the upload of 5_8, was wondering why 3rd gear logs felt slow lol.

Seems like 5_8 is a bit buggy compared to 5_7... maybe it's best to stick to 5_7 for now unless you absolutely need fuel trims for logging?

Being able to see fuel trims is worth it to upgrade it. I have been running 5_8 and the car feels amazing once I took off the boost limiter in 3rd gear

So I'v noticed that my timing, no matter the RPM or boost, is a flat 6* now. Did something change in the new firmware? I recently was running 100% E85, but switching back to E60 and showed no difference in timing. Previously on E40-E60 my timing would increase as rpm increased and boost decreased to 11+*. This no longer happens in map 5 or 6.

Sounds normal if using a back end flash. If not may just be octane or intake temp related.

I am not running a BEF, i know the large turbo BEF targets a flat 6*. I also am not octane limited as I was running straight E85 and decresed it to E60 incase it was lack of fuel related. Also, im running a 7" IC and temps are right at 100 for short pulls.

Could it have something to do with the new All AFR and Duty Bias adustable values?

No the DME sets the base timing curve. So if its set lower then boost is higher, octane is lower, or some other factory is causing it to do so. I wouldn't worry much about it. The N55 makes maximum power around 5-6 degrees anyway.

Couple questions. The settings you say to run on the first page, is this with or without flex fuel wires?

Also the instructions state to change the default waste gate position to 80 but its 60 on the screen shot. Lastly on the flex fuel wire install it states to set fuel open loop to 50 but the screenshot says 70.

Long story short i have iso 5.8 with flex fuel wires installed and looking for confirmation of the correct settings to start with.

Thanks!

You'd need to post your log to the support forum for review.

Doesn't really matter much either way on those two settings. Open loop 70, DWP 60, are the current defaults.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but just to play it safe. We still don't have individual timing on each cylinder for the n55 do we?

That would be sick. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I could really use 6 cylinder timing, NLS, ** fix and top speed delimiter lol. I feel so greedy typing all that.
