New Owner: ******* setup throwing P0430 & P0420 CEL Illuminated - N54Tech.com

I purchased an '09 335i last fall from a friend. He was the sole owner. Car was impeccably maintained, 45k on the odo, etc.

Car has the following engine mods:

JB4
*** deleted ********/exhaust
Dual Cone Filters on the turbo setup
Aluminum Charge Pipe

When I first got the car last fall I would occasionally get an engine malfunction warning on the MFD/Infotainment screen. It would promptly clear itself and only happened maybe 3 or 4 times. I have a BT ODBII reader attached and Torque on my Android phone and no codes were ever thrown.

Two days ago I was driving and this time the CEL illuminated but the MFD/Infotainment never alerted. Torque pulled P04030 (current fault)and P0420 (pending fault) codes this time. Not sure if this is indicating the same thing or something different. Maybe bad 02 sensor? Trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm a bit of a newb to all of this.

What codes does the JB4 pull?
