Default N55 EWG map 2 AVG ign climbing and ign1 dropping to 0 - 06-14-2016, 07:23 AM

Hey guys,

My avg ign has been higher ever since I switched to v7 with 6cyl logging and I understand it's higher because of more inputs now but I recently noticed that the avg ign was going very high in both my meth map 6 tune as well as in map 2. I took a couple of logs on map 2 to see if the problem can be identified. I noticed that the ign values drop to 0 at certain points and I'm trying to figure out why. Shouldn't my car be able to do map 2 without problems? I'm running on 93 octane right now.

Appreciate all the help!

They have 20k of hard driving so they may be the issue but I'm not sure which ones to switch them out for. I've read N20 plugs are the way to go but I'm not sure if I should get the E85 compatible ones or just regular

Just get the one off burgertuning. Gap them to .022" and recheck them after a little while to verify they are all still tight.

Just changed my plugs to the NGK ones. Timing seems to be much better now. Also have two gallons of 104 mixed in with full tank of 93 but I doubt that made much of a difference.

Let me know what you guys think of the logs

Looks pretty good, a little more octane or meth may clean it up even more.

This is with E30 and 80/20 meth. Avg IGN is still not falling below 1.5 so I'm not getting full boost even with a 40 adder.

Log looks pretty good I wouldn't get to hung up on the I avg. unless it really starts climbing.

Ran out of meth and refilled it and I don't think my pump is primed well enough so my flow is getting stuck at 50... Weird thing is that my car isn't dropping timing anymore with 50 meth flow but when meth was at 100 it was dropping a lot more. Ign avg is also down to 1.5 even in map 7 and car seems to pull harder too.

So I guess my question is, is it possible that I am running too much meth when it is at full flow? Its the only factor that has changed between these logs and the past ones I uploaded. Still have the same E30 mix in the tank.

That's hard to say, get your meth flows fixed and lets see, but I really wouldn't think so.

Fixed meth flow. These logs were with 93 and 50/50 mix. Timing still drops between 3000 and 4000 for all cylinders when I go WOT and seems to happen with or without meth even running very low boost. Attached both logs.

Another log with timing going down to 0 on all cylinders in the beginning of the pull... any ideas why my car would do this?

Appreciate all the help I have received from you guys so far. Thanks!

Bump. Tried map 7 to see if it would be any different but still having same issue with all ign crashing and then picking back up. Happened in both 3rd gear pull and 4th too
