JB4 not working after battery -

I just replaced my 1 year old battery today after having to jump start my car multiple times. my jb4 menu no longer works and the car throws a bunch of codes and turns the wipers on. I've tried clearing the codes and they come right back instantly. I tried reflashing my BEF which seemed to help for a minute. also every time I press the gas peddle my radio screen turns off. my car had no lights on before i replaced the battery and the jb4 worked fine. my question is did my jb4 get fried and its messing with the whole system now, or is it possibly the reason the battery was dying already?
Sometimes jump starters send so much current through the system they fry a trace on the JB4 board. You can post some photos if you want us to inspect it, or send the board in and we can probably solder a wire over the damaged trace to repair it for you.
