Default N63 map 6 settings - 09-17-2020, 10:56 AM

Hello new to the site and JB4. Have a 2012 650i with the n63. I have the JB4 installed, arm Motorsports down *****, arm intake with front mount kit and colder plugs, and 3.5 tmap sensors. Iím looking to get the most boost out of my n63 for performance but do it safely and not on the edge of destruction. I have read where some guys are boosting in the low to mid 20ís safely and making some incredible power. Iím running map 6 right now because of the 3.5 tmaps. Whatís the best way to figure out what my car is doing and how I can fine tune to where I wanna be? Thanks in advance for any help.

The tuning options for the N63 are limited and we no longer support the BCM which was used to drive up boost. On the JB4 end best bet is map2 and then if you want more find a flash tuner to add in a back end flash to rescale up boost further that way, keeping the JB4 in use for fine tuning, logging, safety, etc.

Ok thanks Terry, can I use map 2 with the 3.5 tmaps installed? Also on map 6 the numbers entered are additive correct or can you put in numbers for target? Also as far as adding a back end flash who out there supports n63? I use MHD on the X5 but they don’t have anything for N63. Thanks for the reply Terry.
