B58 2018 340I first log -
01-16-2022, 06:40 PM
Hello all! I am new to this and was told to post my log on here, wasn't sure how to log properly so I started the log before every pull then ended it after the pull. All pulls were done around 40mph to 90mph~ in sport and sport+ on 93 octane on map4. Thinking about hopping to e30 next week and jumping onto map5, would I have to post a log again? And how would I log it properly.
Thanks

Trims are maxing out, would probably just stick with 93 octane for now, as well as map 4. Logs should be uploaded from 3rd or 4th gear at 2k rpm to redline with traction completely off on a safe private track. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. Here are my new runs I did. I couldn't get 2k rpms due to certain road environment I was on but if needed I will do it again. It was all runs from 3k rpm

Timing is "okay", I would probably stick with map 2 or 3 depending on how the logs looked.

How much power would I be losing on map 2 or 3? I’m about to buy a dp and upgrade the fuel pump as well to run e30. Also once that is done I’m assuming I can hop on map 5

Yes...that would help greatly for map 5. Post a log once that's completed and we'll look it over.

Map 2 looks slightly better than 3, but 3 is still safe.

Ok I’ll run map 2. So when I get my DP, I should be able to hop to map5 with e30?

Best to log map 4 first...we'll see how it looks and then jump to map 5.
