In my case (1M), the wires leading to the evap valve became a bit stressed due to the BOV adapter shifting everything a few inches towards the firewall. Payam was really helpful in resolving this...ultimately I ended up making an extension using some *short* Bosch EV1 connectors.

Comparison of a few EV1 style connectors. Use of the short ones is important, the extra 1/8” keeps the evap connector wires from rubbing against the firewall.

As there was some confusion on the line size put together a quick video here to clarify it:

Really straight forward.

Remove the brake booster line that goes onto the throttle body.
Lube Orings in the BOV adapter, install onto throttle body and insert E clip to lock into place. Re attache brake booster line to the BOV adapter and you're done.

It improves the vacuum and boost going to the BOV with the larger diameter barb. You will have less flutter with this in place. It also has a second port for boost gauge, hobb switch, or OCC kit, etc...

No but makes compressor surge more likely. Overall, a better vacuum adapter for the BOV is optional but worth the minor cost IMHO.

You can go for the basic kit:
$50 for the basic kit
$70 is for the full kit with the push lock fittings.
