Default Stage 2 flash overboosting - 07-02-2019, 09:36 PM

Hi guys,

I know this would be easier with logs but I don't have a JB4 anymore. I'm writing to get some basic pointers on what to discuss with German tuner to overcome an overboost issue with a stage 2 map.

I have a pipercross filter and HJS 300 cell ******** installed. I'm currently running a stage 1.5 at around 415 ps it's smooth but it's not at full potential.

It's overboosting in higher gears and naturally cutting the boost on the stronger map. We are going to try a different software and map on Thursday and wanted to ask someone knowledgeable about how to overcome this problem if it appears again?

If possible just a quick list of areas to consider would help. Everything is physically installed correctly and there's no exhaust smell from the HJS ***. The guy says he's done many B58s with stage 2 without this problem. So it might be mechanical?

Thanks in advance

Install a JB4 and then log it if you want tuning advice.
