Default Firmware update fails - 06-18-2020, 04:50 PM

2008 335i - jb4 has anti-lag, 2step and bluetooth

Can't update my jb4 to the latest firmware. It gets to around 400-430 of the files, then just goes back to the update screen. Tried changing the timeout and placing my phone right on top the bluetooth dongle, had perfect connection signal, even in the car, but still no dice... now what?
Tried emailing Burger, but they just asked questions and gave suggestions I already tried and wrote in my first email like they didn't even read it...and now haven't heard back from them in almost 2 weeks..

It's a known problem, contact JB4 mobile I think they have a patch for it.

Usually our support would forward you to JB4 mobile support if it's not an obvious issue?

Emailed the jb4connect box a week ago with no response. Ando stopped emailing me 2 weeks ago?? No support has emailed a response, let alone a patch

This has worked for several people:

Disable BT and Wifi.
Restart Device.
Enable BT.
Connect in JB4 Mobile.
Set timeout to 10 (for Rev 3.7 users).
Update firmware.
