Default B58 turbocharger on N55 E9X - 08-22-2016, 10:21 PM

I have a friend who owns a junkyard who just got a B58 340 in. The turbo is in good shape so I was thinking of getting it since the potential is close to 470whp as Terry mentioned in the meth dyno thread for the B58, which is great since fueling wouldn't be a major issue like the F-series. I wonder if it would bolt right on to the N55 E92. I was trying to figure out the technicalities but would like some input from the turbo pros. Thanks!

470whp for b58 engine and b58 ECU also the wastegate is electric!

You're gonna have a helluva time adapting an EWG to your PWG car. Plus everything is in different locations. If you're gonna do it, pull the whole motor, trans and harness and swap the whole thing.
