I stand corrected. Excuse my ignorance. Career gets the best of hobbies at times.

Terry, I just installed the ER *** less DP today, will it go into map 2 using the volume controls, or do you need to send me an update for that?

You can only do it via the USB cable plugged into the stage 2 module and using the jb4 software on your computer to manually select map 2.

For map changing other than 0 or 1 you use the laptop interface.

Is it worth waiting for the Stage 2 if the most you will ever do to your F30 N55 is a DP and intake or will the Stage 1 give you the same power? When will the stage 2 be available for the F30? (And don't tell me to search the thread if it is already available. Terry's website still says it is not available so I'm not going to search a messageboard).

I had the JB4 on my N54 335is and loved it and am already bored with my 2013 335i M Sport.

Thanks. I'll look there. Is it worth the extra $$ or will I make the same power with stage 1 if I am only planning on doing mild mods? So I guess I'm asking if the mild maps are the same on both stages? Map 1 and 5 if those are the same as JB4. Thanks!

Stage 2 with a DP makes the car a completely different beast imo.
I originally had just stage 1 then added dp and stage 2 alone and it is a night and day difference. I also have m performance exhaust and aFe intake on the way.

The ******** not only helping with performance also compliments the exhaust sound as well.

If I buy the stg 2 upgrade now, later when full dash control available can I use it ? Should I update the firmware to use full dash control ?

Also, for stage 2, if I've installed high flow *** ******** and my fuel is 91 octane should I use map 1 or 2 ?

All updates are firmware only. You upload them from home using the BMS USB cable. For 91 octane map 1.

The stage 2 upgrade hardware that is available now, can it support full dash control later when it's available?

After you do stage 2 its only a software limitation not hardware.

Is there anyway to tell you will have the pneumatic solenoid before you buy the car? Is it just hit or miss? Has anyone looked into why those few cars had electronic solenoids?
