Get a Stage 2 LPFP and put 10-12 gallons of e85 in the tank. Also do the BEF w appropriate settings for the mix. Then hope your tranny and front diff don't break.

Reason you are able to mess with the Merc is due to weight difference. He's carrying an extra 700 lbs of lard.

Nice run, I would love to see a video.

Is the front differential and trans that weak? I have done many runs right off the line so far everything is still holding up. Then again I'm not launching the car hard.

I know a couple of Xdrive 535s that broke their front diffs on launches. They had hybrid turbos and were generating well over 500 WTQ though. WOT pulls from 40 mph aren't a problem. It's the hard launches that cause damage.

I'll have to keep that in mind, thanks. I will probably not go over 500 WTQ with this car but I am looking to run a friend with a 2012 Chrys 300 6.4 Hemi with an intake and a *** back exhaust, what's your opinion on that car with my current mods.

Throw the OEM exhaust back on. OEM exhaust with ********* is the best on these cars IMO. Resonators will definitely help though.

LOL, I wasn't gonna comment. Exhaust mods don't add much power to this platform and most guys end up with a terrible drone. I kept mine stock and love the stealth aspect. My buddy has an 08 M5 and it sounds like WW3 is breaking out. Meanwhile I coast right by him with a muted growl. Civilized.

As for the Hemi I dunno. You'll probably take him. Load up on e85.
The tranny and drivetrain should hold up fine on stock turbos. It's when we add larger turbos and go north of 500-600 wtq that sudden bursts of power in low gears cause damage. One moron did it by trying to do burn outs to impress his friends. With AWD. He was brake boosting and releasing, managed to destroy the front diff. No words.... except honorable mention at the Dilbert Awards. (Might have won if it weren't for the guy in the garden chair tied to helium balloons. Drifted into the Pacific and disrupted LAX air traffic at 10k feet. Duh!)
I am convinced it is the kinetic impact that break drive trains, not a gradual delivery of power. F ex we see single turbo cars hitting 700 WTQ and holding up. Likely because from a dig they generate more modest power. By 3k rpms the car is well in motion and there is less resistance. That's my unscientific hunch.

I know a guy with same rear M5 set up, but he retained stock exhaust system and just added a pair of twin ***** on the right to fake the look. Not sure how he attached them but looked real.

Yeah I've seen that muffler it's like 1.5 inch pipe I have a true dual setup I belief the exhaust rattles on the support too need to wrap that and throw in some resonators lol, I second support that gradually going into power does good justice the one time I did launch the car I didn't like the sound I was hearing from below so I don't wot unless 3rd gear
