It's around 40hp on map1, solid gains.

Guy over at Ranger5g is testing a Jb4 for the new Ford Ranger, but is being a bit coy. Any ideas how that is going? Are you expecting power gains similar to what you get on the 2.3 in the mustang?
Thanks!
Charlie

Does anyone know about different Trans mapping or the speed governor with the JB4 ?

The JB4 isn't able to remove the speed limiter, you'd need to add in a flash map for that. Since true max speed is stored across several modules on the truck most people avoid that if under any sort of warranty.

It's basically up and working, we're putting together 5 test systems this week and will be seeking BETA Ranger customers.

Did not know that. Thank you! Is the over boost not recorded using the JB4?

Just curious, I noticed my IAT pid is stuck at 32 all the time on the jb4 read out. I have plugged in my scanner and made sure it's not the truck. sensor values were correlated with ambient temp at cold start with my scanner.? Thanks in advance.

On some models we may have the wrong IAT logging channel. What version of firmware and truck?

Ok thank you. I'll go download the new firmware. It's not a huge issue because everything else seems to be working fine.
