Default N20 timing chain failure? - 09-02-2021, 10:28 PM

Hey peeps, what are some signs of the timing chain guide failing in the n20 engine? I've read a lot of horror stories about the mechanism failing causing catastrophic engine failure. Is there a way to avoid this? Are there any aftermarket parts that are better? I really don't want to end up blowing my engine.showbox speed test

I doubt anyone is going to answer this considering every 4-5 posts there is one about timing chains and N20 engine concerns.
I’d say it’s luck of the draw in the effected model years but you can easily read up about this and draw your own conclusions without creating another post about it.
