My apps use the same max log length as the Windows JB4 app. If they change the max length, I'll change mine.
I'll post a request for the Windows JB4 app to log Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Water Temp separately.
I'll also post a request for the Windows JB4 app to increase the max log length.
Terry replied that Oil pressure is not logged currently and I don't see bothering with it but oil temp & water temp will get full time outputs sooner or later, so hopefully it wil be sooner and it can be added to your app.

I also thought of a way that you could implement extended logging without the BMS JB4 Windows app being updated. Update your app to include a Setting that stores the number (e.g. 1-3) of simultaneous logs and when, for example, it is set to 3 and you tap START LOGGING, it creates the the first log and, after writing that log for 8 minutes, it automatically starts the second log (by invoking the same logic that tapping START LOGGING executes) to carry on from the end of the first log and same again for the third log. So the code could retrieve that value when START LOGGING was tapped and loop through that number of times, creating a log each time, unless there is another more efficient way of doing it. That way, you can log for 8, 16 or 24 minutes, which should be enough for a track session. What do you think?

Just an update on this issue, it appears the boost pressure differences between the p3 gauge and the JB4 Mobile app's gauges are restricted to initial onset and early stages of boost. The maximum boost values either match it or are close enough (0.0 to 0.3 psi) to perhaps suggest the differences are due to either how the boost pressure is being collected/monitored or that the p3 gauge is currently plugged into the OBDII port running in "digital" mode (as opposed to full analogue) and, therefore, the JB4 resolution is being reduced by 20-40% (suggested by Terry).

I'm temporarily out of stock. My parts supplier should be shipping the rest of my order soon. I've also gone ahead and ordered another batch of parts. As
Bullitt1841 said, just use an OTG cable in the meantime if your device supports it.

This is the first report I've had of this on iOS. Hmm. My next build will be released soon (it's awaiting review by Apple) so see if that fixes it and let me know.

Honestly, it'd be easier to just increase the max log size (would take like 10 seconds), but the goal is to keep things as close to the Windows JB4 app as possible. I'm not sure how I want to go about this yet. What you mentioned is an option, but it's something I'll need to think about.

Finally got my cable in the mail today (2 day priority somehow turned into a 6 day delivery, thanks USPS). Already using it and first of all, THANK YOU very much for taking this project on and delivering an outstanding product. Some of the best money I've ever spent modding cars for sure. I'll be posting up a good review for you on the app store soon.

A couple of requests that some have already requested as well:

1) Please continue to work a good solution for the 0-60, 1/4 mile, 60-130 as that would be awesome to have.

2) Being able to click on the graph and seeing a box pop up that shows what's going on at that point in time on the graph. Just like it is on the windows interface.

3) Being able to select one large gauge for those that only want to monitor one parameter at a time and see it much easier.

1) I'm working on something new for this already.

2) This may be a little complicated with the touch interface of an iPhone, but I'll add it to the wish list.

3) It's on my todo list.

Almost forgot, audio alerts during WOT for things such as HPFP. It would be great to hear some sort of alarm when things go way out of their parameter.

It is intermittent, could it have anything to do with the fact the phone is connected to the car stereo via bluetooth as well?
Last time it happened I think I had used google maps on my phone earlier in the trip (it reads directions over the stereo via bluetooth).

Nah. I use my phone for Spotify over bluetooth while I log every time I drive with no issues.

Really not sure, but let me know if the next update fixes it for you or not.

I noticed for MT cars , if I'm cruising and start to slow down and put the clutch in neutral the gear selection will think I'm in gear 7 , if I push the clutch pedal in without putting it in gear it will show 0 , If i release the pedal without selecting any gear it will show 7 again

I'm removing both "requirements" on the next Android build so people that only have either OTG or Bluetooth can download the app.

This sounds like a JB4 thing (not related to my apps). See if it does the same thing in the windows interface.

Version 2.1 for iOS should be live today. Please let me know if you run into any issues with this update as I did make quite a few changes (you shouldn't as I've tested it thoroughly, but still).

There is none. Don't worry about the phone knowing about the device. Just let the app do everything.

I have temporarily removed the 0-60 and quarter mile timing functions while I look into better and more accurate options.

New version is working great and the auto connect is awesome but what's with the new pop message about getting better connection by disabling wifi? That negates the whole advantage of the auto connect feature because instead of hitting connect now I have to hit ok on that message that pops up every damn time

Downloaded the update and the issue of it randomly disconnecting is still there, in fact it rarely stays connected for more than a few minutes.

So far I have
-checked the connection of the usb cable with the JB4
-used two different lighter to USB adapters, and tried both of the lighter positions (armrest and ashtray).
Issue still happens.
Any tips on what I could try troubleshooting next?
Thanks.

X2. I don't want to disable my wifi everytime I get into my car and it would be nice to just open the app and go
