Completely agree. If you ever come across such a renegade, let me know!

I just called and left a voicemail. Let me know if you need someone to test out the N20 turbo upgrade. I'd be interested in swapping out my current hexon racing turbo upgrade for the rb turbo upgrade. I need more power!!

Are you sure your Hexon turbo upgrade is maxed out already?
A stock N20 is able to reach over 300 rwhp with a de*** d0wnpipe.

I tuned my 320i to 23/24 psi @ 3000 rpm and 20/21 psi @ 5500 (max power).
It made 330/335 rwhp on the dyno. Bear in mind I have an er de*** d0wnpipe and my engine has higher compression ratio (11:1) and ign timing is very agressive. It goes as high as 15. As long as octane is there, it will always make more power than a x28 engine.

I desperately need meth injection but I'm not able to tune boost properly yet. I'm waiting for Terry to release a new firmware that will allow us to vary FF across the rpm range. Btw, any news on this?

pretty impressive, you can reach that level of power on dp alone !!

so you made a world record for 320i Is there a dyno, video for your car ?!

F30 328i - 8 auto.. JB4+FF+EWG, OCC, Injen Intake+scoop, AFE dp, AA axle-back - H&R springs, H&R rear SB - Front Strut - F&R BMS spacers..

Please put a dyno with 91 on the list map1 or 2, just for the sake of tuning lol

It's not only about dp, but the car is 11:1 against 10:1 and the DME targets higher ign timing compared to x28 cars.

Unfortunately I don't have the dyno sheet anymore. My bad! I do have logs though.

The dyno is an AWD Dastek and MAY be off. I dyno'd the car before modding and it made 185/195 rwhp if I'm not mistaken. It's been quite a long time ago when I purchased the car so don't trust this figure.

That's why I never claimed any figures on any board I believe.
I talked to Terry about this via email though.

I'm still facing timing drops, specially because it's summer here and temps go as high as 105/110F. That's why I haven't been WOTing very often.

As a fellow 320i owner, I look forward to your complete set-up, and hopefully I'll be able to follow suit. As of right now, I only have the stage 1 tene and an Injen intake.

You should upgrade so stage 2 + flex fuel wires + ewg harness!
The improvement is unbelievable! The c*tless dp is also of great value.

Finally back in a bimmer...picked up an X1 the other day. Ordered a stage 1 tune the next day

I've read that the engine bay is different on the X1 then F series cars. Anything I need to know before I start the install?

I was super stoked to test out my N20 228i at irwindale speedway last night. I had set it to map 7 with 100 octane fuel like what I had dynod earlier last month and lets just say my night didn't end too well...

After one of the techs at my dealership inspected it... we determined that I ended up blowing the chargepipe off the intercooler. I'm running an aftermarket chargepipe and even with the stock one it would blow off. Not sure what contraption I can make to make it stay on. It was one hell of a scare to hear a big "POP" when i was brake boosting.

Oh, glad to hear that buddy =) that's an easy fix
What chargepipe do you have? Is it the one that goes from the IC to the throttle body?

I'm running the Rolloface N20 chargepipe. The one from the throttle body to the intercooler and from the intercooler to the turbo.

I have the ER but I just replaced the one from the IC to the throttle body.
Which one is the culprit in your case?

The one that blew off this time was the small one that connects from the IC to the turbo.

Never heard of an issue with the ER N20 CP.

Might have to switch this rolloface cp for the ER cp. The guys at ER are close friends of mine and I know they make solid products

The one he blew off is the one ER won't replace =/
It's funny because that one is made from a thick rubber material and looks pretty solid. Was it in the middle of the pipe or right after the flange?

I have an ER CP kit and it only came with the longer pipe from the IC to the throttle body.
