The RS guys are lucky since they already have mapping designed up to 14-15psi. They can take advantage of higher boost with proper octane and fueling due to the different ecu strategy. The best bang for the buck setup currently would be full bolt ons, an ecutek tune, a JB4, and a WMI kit. That is, without the expense of a $3000 set of fuel pumps/injectors and full on e85.
I'd never dial past 7 on my Map6 at this point, regardless of fuel or WMI. I need to have a working fast car, not just a fast car

I have a CEL today, the code is 0448, it says no description found. Has anybody ever seen this?

P0448 code is stored when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects that the circuit for the evaporative emission control system's vent has shorted, or that the valve for this system is stuck in the closed position.

I was going to mention to try that first. Evap vent valves do commonly fail on many vehicles, however I have not seen one go bad on a q50 yet. At least you have the JB4 to easily read and erase the codes!

Really choppy with only short pulls. You really need either a high gear pull or a 3 gear pull to be able to tell. Your AFR is still mainly in lean spool mode when youre WOT.

Can someone take a look at my map 6 to see how bad this was? I had set up a conservative map 6 but did not realized it had to be connected etc. for it to "save" correctly. So what had happened is that I was running the preloaded map6 that was already saved in there...the car felt strong and I didn't hear any pre-detonation but would like an expert to take a look at the file. I've since dropped it down to +6 on the meaty part of the rev band.

Yeah, I wouldn't think that doing that once would hurt anything but don't run that again of course. Your timing made several dives and was very low due to the excessive boost request. I would agree not to go beyond +6 on 93 fuel alone.

Yeah I didn't even realized what was going on but looking at the boost meter and with it showing 19-20psi at times. I'm thinking my +6 was too high until I got home and realized it loaded the default map of basically +8 across the board . I'll play around with the +6 for now but map 5 seems solid except if I were to launch it from a dig then I can hear a little pre-detonation with that map 5. So my map 6 is like yours where it's basically 1,2,3,5,5.5.6.6.6.4.2.1 .

After the mistake with previous Map 6 this is my new Map 6 pull from this morning. Please take a look and see if it's good to go. I'm also on 91 but do have 3 stations with e85 around me. I will be getting WMI in the future too.

Preferably either a 3 gear pull or a high gear pull.

I think its still too high for your octane....the timing is still choppy.

You can always manually put it in a gear, but yes you want a full pull from say 2k-redline. 3rd gear is ok for the most part. Multi gear pulls are better because the car will be out of lean spool mode by then.

Either that or get yourself some added octane or WMI.

Notice, he's saying a 3-gear pull.. basically going WOT from 2nd-4th or 3rd-5th etc.

Yeah, I agree the 3* timing drop at 5500 rpm worries me. I would drop a psi, I don't think many get away with that much boost request on 91 octane. I would add a few gallons of e85 to a full tank or a can of reputable octane booster for good measure till you get a WMI kit.
