Does bit5 disable the EWG settings like it does for Stingers?

Got my EWG wires installed today. Very easy, took about 15mins. Set my bias at 55 all through the rpm band and FF to 60. Had to turn my peak boost down a pound as I hit just shy of 20psi at the top of 2nd gear. Got a quick log of two 2nd to 4th gear runs and everything looked pretty good with a peak boost of about 18 at 5k rpm tapering to about 14 by redline. I saw one little timing drop out so I will lower the boost a touch there or add octane. I compared boost from these logs to previous and under 4k I did not notice much difference so far but I did see a 3psi or so difference in the mid range. It felt like boost came on stronger (especially before I reduced the peak slightly). Very excited to play with this more when the weather is better (raining today). I only went through the gears twice after the car warmed up before returning back to work at lunch. I will post logs once I have time to get some better isolated 3rd through 4th gear pulls.

It should test it out. You'll know it's working if WGDC stays pinned at 50 (no offset).

Got a problem. Installed EWG connectors, revs in driveway were fine, started driving and limp mode but no CEL. Parked and turn off, back on, driving again, as soon as I hit significant boost, car rocketed forward, TC disabled, I almost went sideways and then I got a CEL and it says Warning Malfunction See Owners Manual. JB4 codes are 2562 and 2586. Any ideas?

Never mind. I never updated the user settings and the wastegate being at 0 across the board is a bad bad thing

Yes we'll adjust the firmware soon so those 0 setting issues don't cause an issue.

Yeah, at first I had adjusted the bias to 55 and the ff to 60 but did not change the PID to 20 and the auto shift reduction to 60. I think it was causing some slight overboosting.

My car is a damn ROCKET SHIP now. Gotta completely relearn 0-60 technique or disable EWG for digs. Traction GONE and completely hanging with tuned Qs on 93

Hey Terry, anything you need to see from a logging standpoint? Also I do believe bit5 does disable EWG. Let me know if you need a guinea pig foranything. .
